I believe the message I’m sharing is one that will inspire my audience. I’m not doing it for the shake of sharing a story, I’m doing it for those who can relate to my characters, their wounds, their struggles and share their joy in their successes.

Nice! I’ve been thinking of theme in too complex a way, I think — as always being a full ‘message’ (whole sentences), rather than concepts. It helps to read these practical ways to pitch around it. I can imagine the feedback can even clarify our own themes for us. That happened with my Roadmap, too.

The way women are treated on the internet is awful. People forget that they’re talking to an actual person, and hiding behind a screen numbs them to that.
